How does laser tattoo removal work?
Laser removal is based on the use of precise light energy that selectively breaks down pigment particles in the skin, leaving the surrounding tissue undamaged. The body then gradually removes these particles through natural processes.
Preparation before treatment
For optimal results, we recommend:
Avoiding sun and tanning beds for at least 14 days before the procedure.
Discontinue the use of retinoids or products with acids a few days before treatment.
Avoid medications that affect blood clotting (e.g. Aspirin) for 3 days before therapy.
What to expect during the procedure
During laser tattoo removal, we cool the skin to reduce discomfort. The laser pulses are felt as gentle “elastic snaps” on the skin. We always adapt the therapy to:

Skin care after removal
After laser tattoo removal, gentle and careful skin care is essential for a smooth recovery and long-term preservation of skin quality. At Origamixmeraki, we advise you to take the following steps for the best possible results:
In the first 48 hours after treatment, cool the skin several times a day with gentle compresses to reduce any swelling, redness and discomfort.
Apply an antibiotic cream or selected regenerative gel (e.g. HyperOil) twice a day to help the skin regenerate naturally.
In the first three days after the procedure, we advise you to gently protect the tattoo with a sterile dressing, especially if the area is exposed to friction.
For at least four weeks after the procedure, the treated area should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The use of protective clothing or a high protection factor (SPF 50+) is mandatory.
Until the skin is completely healed (usually 10–14 days), avoid swimming in pools, visiting saunas and hot baths.
We recommend sufficient fluid intake, a balanced diet and body care, which contributes to faster skin regeneration.
